DJ Chetas’ first recognition came in 2014 when he was voted India’s Favourite Bollywood DJ by the My Fav DJ poll, an award that he also won the following year.ĭJ Chetas popularity can be attributed to his ability to mash-up Bollywood vocals into his mixes, relating his sound to the younger generation of India. He continued this success by jumping to 33rd the following year. The Mumbai born artist became the first Indian DJ to break into DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list, where he debuted at 59th place in 2015.
